Check domain name eligibility
- Verify your domain name’s eligibility for transfer by checking its status and any locks with your current registrar. ( A domain name is eligible for transfer not latter than 30days before expiration).
- Unlock your domain name, disable privacy protection (if enabled), and ensure your contact details are up-to-date.

Obtain your Authorization Code
- Request the domain name’s authorization code (also known as the EPP code or transfer code) from your current registrar.
Step 3
Initiate and Confirm Transfer
- Start the domain name transfer process within your Ducehost account by providing the domain name and authorization code.
- Review the transfer details and confirm your request.

Finalize and Enjoy Streamlined Management
- Approve the confirmation emails sent to you and your domain’s administrative contact to complete the transfer.
- Wait for the transfer to be finalized (usually between 5-7 days), during which your domain name remains active with your former registrar.
- Once the transfer is complete, manage your domain name alongside your hosting services, all in one place for streamlined management.
Note: The billing associated with the previously acquired domain name is non-transferable. We kindly request a renewed payment to continue enjoying uninterrupted access to this service.
